No sweetheart, but lots of (healthy) sweets

My New Year’s resolution still keeps me active in the gym and HURRAH I’m not the only one loosing weight. My precious dog, Eddie has lost a few inches as well, simply because we now take longer and faster walks.

Valentine’s Day is up and for me being single, it’s usually not the most enjoyable time of year. But then again maybe I could simply “shower the people I love with love".

Okay, but how? Chocolates? Candy?

Since I’m still 100% devoted to my new healthier me, I want to find options that combine indulgence with something healthy. In the fitness center I go to, they sell the most delicious and soft chocolate brownies. They are low in sugar and packed with proteins.

I’ve decided to bring some protein brownies to my sweet grandmother who deserves a lot of love on Valentine’s Day. Protein should be good for seniors who want to stay strong and mobile – at least so I’ve read in a recent blog post.

The leftovers will be shared with my dearest friends who I’ve invited over for a small Valentine’s festivity.
